A fine mid-19thC piece in very good, restored condition, with plain top, veneered with exquisitely grained rosewood of a rich, dark colour on a frieze that incorporates a drawer-front with turned knobs that withdraws to reveal a deep pouch, lined with a pink material, all supported on scroll-carved solid rosewood ends, terminating on acanthus-carved feet, all on veneered block bases on brass & ceramic casters, this lovely work, side or lamp table will impress in the most elegant of period-furnished homes and fully deserve the flattering attention it is certain to receive from family & guests alike.

Top Width 54cm x Depth 42cm (21.25" x 16.5")

This is a genuine antique from around the 1850s, so expect the mature character that only comes with considerable age but, now professionally & sympathetically restored, it's in very good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
